EDExpress for Windows 2010-2011

The EDExpress software is a PC application that processes, packages and manages Title IV student financial aid records. The U.S. Department of Education (ED) provides EDExpress to post-secondary educational institutions that participate in its Electronic Data Exchange (EDE) process. EDExpress for Windows 2010-2011, Release 4.0 updates the William D. Ford Direct Loan (Direct Loan) and Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education Grant (TEACH Grant) modules to import and store exit counseling results files sent by the National Student Loan Database System (NSLDS). In addition, Release 4.0 updates the Direct Loan module to import and store entrance counseling results files sent by the Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) System and updates the App Express module to import and store the new IRS Student Request Flag and IRS Parent Request Flag data elements added to the 2010-2011 Institutional Student Information Record (ISIR).

EDExpress for Windows 2009-2010

The EDExpress software is a PC application that processes, packages and manages Title IV student financial aid records. The U.S. Department of Education (ED) provides EDExpress to post-secondary educational institutions that participate in its Electronic Data Exchange (EDE) process. EDExpress 2009-2010, Release 4.0 adds enhancements related to the Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA) of 2008, P.L. 110-315, including the ability to award up to 200% of the scheduled Federal Pell Grant award in a single award to eligible students to accelerate completion of their program of study. Release 4.0 also updates setup and import functionality to accommodate the new Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant Exit Counseling Results file generated by the Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) System.
