President
Dr. Harry V. Weber established Weber &
Associates, Inc. in 1991 as an outgrowth of Financial Aid Consulting and Training
Service, which was founded by Weber in 1974 as a small sideline business while he
was employed by several colleges in Louisville, Kentucky.
In 1985, after years of
working in all phases of higher education, Weber became president of a large financial
aid service in Florida. During the next nine years, FACTS maintained a small identity
while Weber served the larger company. In 1991, Weber left the Florida company and
began Harry V. Weber & Associates, Inc. In 1993, Weber & Associates, Inc.
was moved to Greenville, South Carolina, a crossroads in the center of its client
base.
Weber, himself, has been
involved in Federal Financial Assistance programs since 1968. Having been involved
in education since 1962, Dr. Weber has a keen understanding of all areas of higher
education management. He has served as a Department of Education trainer, member
of the National Council of NASFAA, Title IV consultant and financial aid officer.
His financial aid experience involves awarding, distribution and business office
management. He has a national reputation as a teacher, trainer, speaker and author
and now makes that expertise available to a wide range of institutions.
Weber’s experience and
knowledge in admissions, academics, accreditation, and higher education management
makes Weber & Associates, Inc. unique in the third party service field.
